Krissy travels all over the world, winning races like the Ultra Trail Du Mont Blanc, all with a smile and easy charm that has endeared her to fans workwide. She wrote us between her gigs with UltraSpire, Patagonia, as RD for the Chuckanut 50k, and her epic racing year.
Fan Favorite Ultramarathon Runner, Hal Koerner
Hal has been a longtime dominant force in ultras, and has won Western States twice. He wrote us just before winning the Rocky Raccoon 100 in Texas. He lives in Ashland, Oregon, where he founded the popular Pine To Palm 100 through his shop, Rogue Valley Runners.
100 mile killer, Geoff Roes
Geoff has dominated the 100 mile scene nearly every time he has lined up. An ambassador for Montrail, Geoff has run 100 mile races, 100ks, 50 milers, and 50ks and won nearly everything under the sun. Based in Alaska for much of the year, Geoff has an unusual regimen and a very unique approach to the sport.
Top runner and New Balance ambassador Anton Krupicka
In 2012, Anton will tackle the Hardrock 100 after a tough 2011 season hampered by injury. Anton took the time to talk to us about food, music, shoes, the environment, trails, and of course, his running and racing.
Elite Ultramarathoner David Riddle
In 2011, David Riddle won six 50k races and broke the course record in each one, then ran the JFK50 in a course record to cap off the season. He competed at the 100k Worlds, and took second at the USATF 100k championships. In 2012, he will run the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run, head-to-head with some of the world’s best.
